Digital transformation
Evaluation of business processes to identify and prioritize digitization, integration and automation opportunities, with guidance and follow-up on adoption and results.
When to engage it
When the operation depends on manual work or scattered information and an order of attack is missing.
- Processes are held together with spreadsheets, email and repeated data entry.
- Existing systems do not talk to each other and information is reconciled by hand.
- The company wants to digitize, but there is no agreement on where to begin.
- Tools were purchased that never reached full adoption.
- The operation is growing and current processes are not scaling with it.
- It has to be justified to leadership which digitization initiatives deserve budget.
What it covers
The work starts from actual processes, not from the tool. Depth and the processes included are set by the scope.
Process evaluation
- Mapping of the processes included in the scope
- Identification of manual steps, rework and error points
- Information that is duplicated or does not flow between areas
- Dependencies between processes and current systems
Prioritized opportunities
- Digitization, integration and automation opportunities
- Assessment by operational impact, risk and effort
- Decision criteria for comparing alternatives
- Dependencies and recommended sequence between initiatives
Adoption and follow-up
- Conditions required for adoption to actually happen
- Indicators to verify the expected result
- Guidance during third-party implementation
- Follow-up on adoption once the change is released

How Bekta works with your team and your vendors
Digitization is executed by those who build and operate the systems. Bekta evaluates, prioritizes and guides.
-
Bekta

-
Business areas

Bekta does not develop software or build integrations. The outcome of each initiative depends on third-party execution and on adoption inside the company.
Frequently asked questions
Do the current systems have to be replaced?
Not necessarily. A share of the opportunities is usually resolved by putting processes in order, integrating what already exists, or using contracted functionality that was never adopted. Replacement is evaluated when the evidence justifies it.
Does Bekta build the automations?
No. Execution belongs to internal teams and vendors. Bekta defines what is worth doing, in what order, and the criteria by which the result is verified.
How is it measured whether digitization worked?
Through indicators agreed before starting, tied to the affected process. The measurement is established in the scope; the values depend on each company’s operation.
Can we start with a single process?
Yes, and it is often advisable. A narrow scope lets you verify the method and the result before extending it.
How does this relate to the strategic IT assessment?
The assessment evaluates the company’s technology situation as a whole; this service concentrates on business processes. It can be engaged separately or follow from a prior assessment.
Which processes do you want to put in order first?
Describe the operation that concerns you. We propose a meeting to review the context and frame the scope of the evaluation.
A meeting is proposed after the first contact, once the context is understood.
